I love spending Memorial Day in a small town. They really know how to honor and give thanks to members of our Armed Forces. There was a small parade, and a ceremony where the American Legion raised the colors as well as a POW/MIA flag. It was a great opportunity to share with my children some flag etiquette and to explain the significance of the holiday. Read more
