THE FORMATION PROCESS
The Bishop administers this sacrament in the fall of the 9th grade year. Preparation for current 8th graders begins in April. We expect to be informed of our Confirmation date by September each year—typically just a few months in advance. We sincerely apologize for the difficulty this presents for planning and making travel arrangements.

Adaptations for Candidates with Special Needs
Confirmation may be celebrated privately in the Grotto Chapel or in the main church immediately before the large group celebration. We can also arrange special seating during the large group Mass.
Teen Confirmation
If you have an older child whom you would like to be confirmed, contact Jason Gawaldo and we will design a preparation program to meet your needs.
Adult Confirmation
If you are an adult who is looking to be received into the Catholic Church and to be confirmed, contact Sr. Annie Bremmer to learn more about the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults program.
Eligible Candidates have completed 7th and 8th grade Faith Formation, including Catholic Vision of Love. If you have not completed these, you will need to meet with a Staff Member to discuss an appropriate type of formation plan prior to Confirmation.
