Making Music Praying Twice

Making Music Praying Twice Little Angles Curriculum is a parent-participation music education class that fosters the Catholic faith and enriches education and family life.  Utilizing both religious and secular music from a variety of cultures and genres, children and parents will explore different instruments, sounds, and movements within the rhythm of the liturgical year.  Each registered family will receive one CD and one illustrated songbook (e-book format) for each of the following liturgical seasons: Ordinary Time Fall, Advent Christmas Epiphany, Ordinary Time Winter, Lent, and Easter & Pentecost.  Sessions are open to children from birth through age 5 along with a parent or guardian.

Older students just starting this method will need to participate in “catch-up” sessions offered at St. John Neumann during the summer.

For more information about Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for children or catechist training for adults, please contact Kelly Reed, Director of Religious Education for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd at St. John Neumann, at kreed@stjohnneumannpgh.org or 412-366-5885, X16.
