In accordance with diocesan directives, there is a six-month waiting period for all wedding ceremonies. No wedding can be scheduled in the Parish Calendar without first having met in person with Deacon Tom to ensure that marriage within the Church can indeed take place in the time period desired. It is always wise, therefore, to ensure your date in the Parish Calendar prior to confirming a date with your social hall or caterer. After your meeting with Deacon Tom and your selection of a wedding date, you will receive a marriage packet in the mail from Sts. John and Paul. It will contain a letter of congratulations, a Wedding Guide, an informational booklet on Cohabitation, a list of upcoming pre-marriage classes, and directions to Sts. John and Paul.

After scheduling your marriage at the parish, you must take a Diocesan or Parish Pre-Marriage Class.

You must also fill out the online Wedding Worksheet, which will be submitted to our parish Wedding Coordinator Committee.

Visit the diocesan website for frequently asked questions about Catholic marriage.

Please feel free to contact the parish office at any time during your wedding planning process at 724-935-2104.
